Overlook Goslings -- First Day Photos |
Overlook's newly hatched
goslings, Gordie and Gertie arrived overnight May 5--May 6. They had a
busy first day. They had their first swim, their first tour of the water
feature area that morning, then later, they had a walk over by the golf
course. They slept in their nest on the islet in the water feature the
night of May 6, but by morning May 7 they had relocated.

By late afternoon, the family had gone exploring. They were sighted returning from the golf course, and coverage resumed. |

The
geese were up early on May 7. They had left by 6:30 A.M.
and have not returned. If you should sight Gordie and Gertie
again, share the information. We miss our little ones. |
